Meanwhile warcraftlogs publishes charts showing you how common each talent, trinket, and legendary (I'm assuming that'll now be azerite gear) was among the top parses. The simulations are nice as far as they go, which isn't actually that far once it comes to the specific mechanics of each raid encounter. Once the raids are live the data you really want is the actuals from warcraftlogs or similar. I love how Blizzard listened to all of the complaints in Legion about how the most overpowered trinket in the game dropped from a world boss that only spawned every few weeks and then implemented exactly the same right of the bat in BFA. We don't want a bunch of people installing an add-on, missing the note that defaults have problems, and then blame Wowhead for sending them a 'bad' add-on. Yep, we're just seeing if the add-on gets refined first more before mentioning it in guides. Wowhead does not maintain addons but it looks like Azerite Power Weights might be something you're interested in, although currently it seems like a WIP based on their description of defaults. Extremely time consuming, especially when you're playing multiple classes and specs.

Right now evertime we get a new piece of armor we have to go look for a guide to know which is better. Like when mousing over a specific trait in the Azerite window, have a tooltip saying "X out of Y number of azerite traits available for your class/spec" How about putting it in an add on so we have the "rank" of each trait when we mouseover them? Hmm? If you have further suggestions for the Wowhead Class Guides, leave them in the comments!

If you have any suggestions for these charts, don't hesitate to leave a note on Bloodmallet's Github. These charts are available for all websites to use and the creator is quick to add requests from the community. If you enjoy these types of charts, considering supporting Bloodmallet's Patreon. And like everything else: Feedback from all users is important to improve the experience for everyone. Some thoughts about the planned benefits can be found on my patreon page.

Everyone is welcome to add their suggestions and especially report errors about the page there.įinally, I intend to keep expanding the page in the future, so that patrons will be able to get more benefits. The charts should reflect that, but currently don't. For example the Engineering Azerite Traits are available at only one specific itemlevel. There are many functions planned for the future, like filtering by source or itemlevel, as well as improving what data I actually generate. Therefore I want to expand what fight styles I can offer in the future. I'm aware that every spec has different strengths and those become visible via different simulation types. Of course the charts don't replace personal sims. That's exactly what I'm trying to answer with. When I see an item drop from a boss or get it from the weekly chest, I always wonder how good overall the item is. To me is a project that tries to satisfy the need for general simulation data. Not familiar with Bloodmallet? Here's a bit about the project, from the creator: Mouseover the charts to see how it works! Not every guide on Wowhead uses Bloodmallet charts currently, as some specs use custom profiles and others do not have sims, but we are working to roll out these charts to as many specs as possible! Below are the guides which currently support the charts:īelow you can find an example from the Frost DK Gear Guide.

These charts are kept up-to-date with hotfixes, and when Bloodmallet updates, the charts on Wowhead automatically update as well! You can also mouseover and click on any trinket or Azerite Power in the list to learn more.

With these charts, you can see how different trinkets rank against each other at different item levels, as well as outer and inner Azerite Traits. These charts use SimulationCraft's base BiS spec profiles, allowing you to quickly answer many gearing questions without needing to run the simulations yourself. These charts are originally generated on.
